At Drinkaware, we believe in our mission to reduce and prevent the misuse of alcohol in Ireland and delay the age of the first drink. We’ve put our work to the test by entering the Charity Impact Awards 2021.
The Charity Impact Awards, organised by The Wheel, recognises and celebrates the work of charities, community groups and voluntary organisations that work towards making Ireland a better place for all.
We have researched, developed and delivered our Alcohol Education Programme (AEP) to Junior Cycle Students, and it has proven ability to delay the age of the first drink. The Drinkaware AEP has been independently evaluated by Maynooth University and you can explore more of our findings in the Evaluation of Drinkaware’s Junior Cycle Alcohol Education Programme (JC AEP) 2018-2020 Summary Report.
